Hilary Hatfield is President of Art Collector's Athenaeum. Mrs. Hatfield is a fine art professional with over 25 years working in various management capacities in the visual arts in the non-profit and private sectors. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from Maryland Institute College of Art and is a Professional Member of the American Association of Museums and the Society of American Archivists. Mrs. Hatfield's expertise, born out of her many experiences exhibiting fine art, is coupled with her keen understanding of how every object in a collection is meaningful to the collector. Mrs. Hatfield acts as a curator for private art collections and has overseen numerous public art projects. She has managed exhibitions of photography, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, artifacts, fine furniture and fine crafts and has worked cooperatively with numerous museums in the planning and logistics of presenting fine art. Mrs. Hatfield works closely with each collector to provide the insight, support and information that allows them to be the best possible steward of their collection.
Mark Hatfield is the Vice President of Art Collector's Athenaeum. He is a member of the Society of American Archivists and the American Library Association. Mr. Hatfield's background in collection management and technical knowledge of computer based systems contribute to the building of our digital archives. Mr. Hatfield's keen attention to detail is surpassed only by his passion for and knowledge of Fine Art.
